Pass only valid with participating companies, not every operator in every country accepts it. First-class passes work in both classes; second-class passes are second-class only. Cannot be used for travel wholly within the holder's country of residence except the two allotted inbound/outbound days. Standard passes are refundable or exchangeable if unused; promotional passes may not be. Brand is changing name to Interrail worldwide from 9 September 2026, which may cause temporary confusion between 'Eurail' and 'Interrail' branding in search results and older guides.
