Long-distance intercity passenger rail is essentially absent across the continent; what exists is a handful of unconnected scenic/tourist trains and short commuter or metro networks in individual cities, each selling only point-to-point tickets, for example Serra Verde Express (Curitiba to Morretes/Paranaguá, Brazil), PeruRail and IncaRail (Cusco/Machu Picchu corridor, Peru), and Tren Ecuador's scenic routes. None of the official pages found for these operators advertise a multi-journey pass, railcard or subscription product.
