No nationwide or multi-country rail pass scheme was found for Brazil or the rest of South America. Long-distance intercity passenger rail is essentially absent across the continent; what exists is a handful of unconnected scenic/tourist trains and short commuter or metro networks in individual cities, each selling only point-to-point tickets, for example Serra Verde Express (Curitiba to Morretes/Paranaguá, Brazil), PeruRail and IncaRail (Cusco/Machu Picchu corridor, Peru), and Tren Ecuador's scenic routes. None of the official pages found for these operators advertise a multi-journey pass, railcard or subscription product.

The individual scenic trains that do exist (Serra Verde Express, PeruRail, IncaRail) are fully reserved, seat-specific services sold as single journeys, generally recommended to book in advance because capacity is limited.

Do not present a fabricated 'South America Rail Pass' or 'Brazil Rail Pass' to travellers, none was found on any operator's own site during this research. Passenger rail in the region is fragmented and mostly tourist-oriented rather than a network a pass could meaningfully cover; this finding was based on search research into named operators rather than an exhaustive fetch of every operator's own site, so a very small or newly launched local scheme cannot be entirely ruled out.
