What it covers: Unlimited travel with participating train, ferry and some public transport operators across 33 European countries, sold to residents outside Europe (the non-European-resident equivalent of the Interrail Pass).
Who can buy it: For residents outside Europe only; European residents must buy the Interrail Pass instead. Sold in Adult, Youth (12-27) and Senior (60+) bands; children 4-11 travel free with an accompanying adult pass holder, under 4 free without a pass.
How long it lasts: Sold as Flexi (set number of travel days within a fixed window such as within 1 or 2 months) or Continuous (unbroken days up to three months). Must be activated within 11 months of purchase. Exact combinations were not itemised in the fetched content.
What it costs: Price varies, no stable figure published on the fetched page; price is calculated dynamically by age band, class and duration and shown in the buyer's selected currency (USD, AUD, CAD, EUR, GBP, CHF, KRW, SEK, PLN, NOK were listed as options). Third-party resellers (not the issuer) quote 2026 adult second-class figures from roughly USD 306 upward for short Flexi passes, but this was not confirmed as a stable issuer-published figure.
Seat reservations: Most high-speed and night trains require a separate paid reservation; a 'Plus' pass variant bundles most such reservation costs into the pass price.
What catches people out: Only valid with participating operators. First-class passes valid in both classes, second-class passes second-class only. Standard passes are refundable/exchangeable if unused, promotional passes may not be. The brand itself is disappearing: from 9 September 2026 Eurail becomes Interrail worldwide, with existing passes, bookings and accounts carried over unchanged.
