Coach-class travel on most Amtrak routes, covering over 500 destinations across 46 US states. Excluded from the pass are Acela, the Auto Train, the Maple Leaf service to Canadian stations, and Thruway Bus routes numbered 7000-7999. Only segments sold at Sale or Value fare levels are eligible; segments where only a Flex fare is on offer cannot be booked on the pass.

Covers 10 ride segments usable within 30 days of the first trip. The pass itself is valid for 120 days from purchase, meaning travel must begin within that window, after which the 30-day travel clock starts.

The standard published price is USD 499 (described by Amtrak as 'less than $50 per segment'). Amtrak has run limited-time promotional pricing below this (for example USD 250 for a booking window in January 2026), so the promotional figure is not a stable ongoing price; treat USD 499 as the standing reference price, subject to change.

Each of the 10 segments must be individually reserved (through the purchase confirmation flow, 'My Trip' on Amtrak.com, or the Amtrak app); the pass itself does not guarantee a seat until a segment is booked.

Travel between any single pair of stations is capped at two round trips (four one-way segments), including intermediate stops on that route, so the pass cannot be used as truly unlimited point-to-point travel. Amtrak states there are no blackout dates or time-of-day restrictions. Because Acela and the Auto Train are excluded, travellers expecting to use the pass on the busy Northeast Corridor's fastest service will be caught out.
